I am aldi candle, whenever I see a candle I’ve never tried before, such as the Aldi Hotel Collection Blackberry & Bay No.2 Candle, I can’t resist buying it. I’ve tried a dozen different Aldi candles in the last year alone, and I haven’t found a single one to disappoint. They always burn well, are fragrant and burn cleanly.

Many Hotel Collection products are labeled as imitations of Jo Malone products. This candle is “inspired” by the Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay collection. Jo Malone’s 200g candle is £49, while the Aldi Hotel Collection Blackberry & Bay No.2 Candle is priced at £3.49. I’ve never tried the Jo Malone version so it’s hard to compare, but for less than £4 this is a great candle.

Aldi Hotel Collection Blackberry & Bay No.2 Candle Candle comes in a clear glass jar with a heavy silver metal lid. The candle has a nice, textured purple label on the front of the jar, which looks luxurious considering how affordable it is. It’s a very nice scent with fruity notes of blackberry and herbaceous notes of the bay.

If you’ve never tried any Aldi candles before, I can’t recommend them enough. They’re just as good as the Yankee Candles, except they’re more affordable, and I actually think they’re prettier, too.

I think the Hotel Collection candles and reed diffusers would make great gifts, and it’s always worth keeping an eye on how long the candles are in stock on their website, as they’re always a hit.
