The Glossier hand cream was a random purchase I wanted for free shipping and decided to give it a try because I liked the packaging. I haven’t read any of the reviews, and to be honest, I haven’t read the statement either.
this Glossier You perfume is my signature scent and supposedly the hand cream has the same scent so I guess it should be hand cream I like.
Glossy Hand Cream
Glossier Hand Cream is described as fast-absorbing and contains nutrient-rich moisturizers (like meadowsweet seed oil and coconut fruit extract) to nourish and not feel greasy on hands.
It’s said to use a “second skin” matrix to retain moisture and prevent skin pressure, while the ergonomic packaging is designed for mobile use, with a click-close lid to prevent the bottom from spilling out of your bag (or anywhere else) ).
Glossier describes Glossier Hand Cream as having the Glossier You scent reimagined for hands – it fits better and emphasizes fresh, clean notes.
The Glossier hand cream comes in a light pink rubberized plastic tube with a flip cap. I really like the packaging, how unique it is, but it has a lot of plastic and it’s not refillable either. I think the brand should look into more eco-friendly packaging designs, and it’s pretty bulky too.
Fragrance-wise, the hand cream does not smell like Glossier You. The two smells are similar, but they are definitely not identical, as I would have hoped. However, the hand cream does smell nice and the fragrance lingers for at least two hours.
I love the lightness of this formula because it’s never greasy, and you can use it on a touchscreen phone right after application, but it still provides a fair amount of moisture.
As much as I love the scent, I don’t think I’ll repurchase unless it’s heavily discounted as £16 is expensive for a hand cream and my favorite drugstore Aveeno hand cream It’s only £5 and actually provides more hydration in comparison.
