L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water

Lots of people are raving about L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water ‘finally’ in the UK, as the popular L’Oreal Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water is available in the US. They are different products with different ingredients. We don’t have a US version, this one is exclusive to the UK, they are different products, which I think creates some confusion.

The two products use the same “layered” technology, have the same bottle design and almost the same name, but the US and Europe have very different regulations on the product’s ingredients. I guess the effect is pretty much the same, but L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water is launched as part of the L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths range, which is designed for people with long hair.

ManDiscover Wonder Water by L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths, a new game-changing hair treatment that visibly transforms length in just 8 seconds. Hair is 10x smoother*, shiny and silky to the touch. Wonder Water is a breakthrough damaged hair care product in a rinse-off liquid conditioner formula powered by Lamellar Water Technology.

Moisturizers and amino acids target areas of dry, damaged hair, creating a thin layer called Lamella that smooths the hair’s surface and instantly transforms length for silkier, shinier, healthier-looking hair. Wonder Water works on all hair types from fine to curly, and this damaged hair conditioner is also great for long, dry or frizzy hair. Wonder Water’s silicone-free, water-based formula delivers a lightweight feel even on super fine hair. Not only does it work, it works wonders!

  • L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water is a rinse-off conditioner.
  • Use 2-3 times a week after shampooing.
  • Use 1 dose on fine to medium textured hair, 2-3 doses on thick to curly textured hair, and 1 more dose if your hair is extra long.
  • Apply directly to wet hair only, avoiding the scalp. You may feel a slight warming sensation when the product is activated.
  • Massage for 8 seconds, then rinse off. Follow with conditioner if desired.
  • Blow dry for even better results!

L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water Yes £9.99, is a very runny, viscous liquid, and the bottle has a nozzle that you swirl and then hold directly to your scalp and gently squeeze the bottle to distribute the “water” into your hair. I personally prefer to squeeze the water into my palm as I find that I waste too much of the nozzle as it is harder to control.

L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water Review

L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water does feel a lot like water, so be careful how much you apply. On the bottle, there is a handy numbered guide telling you how much product you should be using, as they recommend a 20ml dose per use.

It’s a really simple inclusion to put on the bottle, but it really helps because the watery consistency feels like you’re using a lot more product than you actually are. My hair is waist length so I need to use 30ml per use, or 40ml if I want a more intensive treatment. This is a weird product because L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water is very runny, unlike any other hair mask or conditioner I have tried.

It does leave your hair feeling super soft, which I think would be down to the silicones, but the formula is silicone free. While it does contain alcohol in many forms, it’s not a product I use very often because my hair tends to dry out.

If you have tangled, tangled hair, I think you’ll really like L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water. It’s said to be an excellent dupe of Kerastase or Redken Lamellar Waters, so if you want to try the technology, this budget-friendly option would be a great choice!
