if you love OGX hair care series, but feel like your hair needs something a little thicker, the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection is the perfect solution. I have two products from the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil range that I’ve been testing for the past few weeks, so read on to find out my thoughts…
OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection
The OGX Miracle Coconut Oil range includes shampoos, conditioners and hair masks, as well as some styling products. Usually OGX products launch in the US first, we have to wait a few months for the UK launch.
However, we can now boots Products are priced between £7.49 and £8.99, but OGX products are often on sale.
The first of two products from the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil range I’ve been trying is OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Air Drying Cream 177ml £7.49. This particular product is for those who dream of ditching their hair dryer!
Described as a miracle cream that helps your hair unleash its own natural movement while reducing frizz, controlling flyaways and adding silkiness and shine. Said to be the perfect antidote to blow-dry boredom, the tropical blend delivers flexible, gentle control, future-proof protection, and natural, fuss-free hold, style, and shine.
It’s super easy to use, just take a small amount in your palm, rub your hands together and smooth it into damp (towel-dried) hair, working down to the ends. Then let the hair dry naturally. This cream has the dreamiest fragrance, blended with Coconut Oil, Vanilla Bean and Tiare Flower Essence.
This air drying cream has the consistency of a conditioner, so I recommend you use it sparingly, it smells like a vanilla and coconut milkshake. This is the best smelling product I have tried from OGX, all of their products smell amazing. So far, I’ve found this particular product to be very handy in the summer because it means I can let my hair air dry without turning into an unmanageable mountain of frizz.
The second product in the OGX Miracle Coconut Oil range is OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Hair Mask 168 grams £7.99, I was really surprised how small the pot of the hair mask is. I’ve never seen a size this small, and if you have long hair like me, this really doesn’t last long. I only have five applications, but if you have thinner hair, it will stretch farther.
Rich in Coconut Oil, Vanilla Bean Extract and Tiaré Serum, this extra-strength hair mask from Tahiti helps transform thick, coarse hair into silky smooth, bouncy and shiny locks.
Purported to be a restorative hair mask for dry, damaged and chemically treated hair, it helps tame frizz and tame flyaways. My hair is not damaged or chemically treated, but I love deep conditioning hair masks that leave my hair silky soft and this one works great.
It makes my hair feel super soft and silky and smells absolutely lovely. If you have really damaged hair, I think you’ll love how nourishing this formula is as it literally changes the texture of your hair within 3-5 minutes. I just wish they made a bigger tub for those of us with longer hair.
