So it’s important not to overuse hand cream or lotion and to wash your hands often so they don’t get too drying in the first place!

To prevent drying, it is essential to maintain a regular washing program. Warm water and a mild, moisturizing soap are recommended when washing your hands. You should also pat your hands dry rather than rubbing vigorously to avoid inflammation or irritation.
