Ruyi is a skin care brand Huda Beautyand Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruit Enzyme Scrub, launched in April as Yo Glow’s latest limited-edition fragrance. The original Yo Glow enzyme scrub was launched last February as Wishful’s first product, and the brand has gone from strength to strength since.
Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruit Enzyme Scrub
As part of the Wishful Christmas collection, the brand has released a delicious, mint-scented Candy Cane Yo Glow limited edition, and it sure smells good. Since it was a limited edition, it was discontinued and I felt gutted when my tube ran out, but the Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruit Enzyme Scrub smells even more amazing, a fun summery tropical themed scent.
“A limited edition unique scrub featuring the same signature ingredients as Yo Glow™ (pineapple and papain enzymes plus AHA and BHA) + a delicious new scent of tropical fruit and flowers, all wrapped up in special edition packaging!“
Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruit Enzyme Scrub is formulated with a blend that gently delivers enzymes, acids, and physical exfoliation without causing any redness or irritation to the skin. Yo Glow Tropical Fruits are designed to help exfoliate dead skin cells and give you a smooth canvas for makeup, which is how Huda promotes it as her first step before makeup.
The original Yo Glow came in a lemon-yellow plastic tube, but the Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruit Enzyme Scrub has a lovely summery glow, with hibiscus flowers and pineapples all over the tube.
Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub has the most amazing papaya scent, reminds me of dried papaya. It’s a really authentic papaya scent, perfect for a tropical-themed scrub. It’s a cellulase scrub that you massage into dry skin, and because of the cellulose, it forms little white flakes that you just rub off to reveal a brighter, more smooth skin.
I’ve tried a lot of cellulose scrubs, but the Yo Glow scrub is my favorite, and the Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruit Enzyme Scrub is an interesting addition to the line. Not only does it smell great, but it works amazingly too, reducing dry patches and leaving my skin feeling super smooth.
Yo Glow is a must-have beforehand if I’m using a higher-coverage, less-forgiving foundation because it helps minimize texture and the makeup goes on top so much better. Even if you don’t try the limited edition Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruit Enzyme Scrub, you have to try the original Yo Glow because I can’t imagine any skin type not seeing benefits and I really like it.
